Day 2: Full Day Trip to Sonamarg Valley| Srinagar – Sonamarg – Srinagar:

Today, set out for a full-day excursion to Sonamarg, the stunning “meadow of gold.” Located at the edge of the Kashmir district and marking the beginning of the Ladakh region, Sonamarg sits at an altitude of 2,743 meters above sea level. The swift-flowing Sindh River makes it a popular spot for trout and mahseer fishing in the summer. You may choose to enjoy a pony ride to one of the nearby glaciers for some snowy fun (additional cost applies). In the evening, return to your hotel in Srinagar for a comfortable overnight stay.

Begin your day early with a trip to Doodhpathri, located approximately 42 km from Srinagar. Upon arrival, stroll through the lush green meadows and take in the stunning scenery. Doodhpathri, meaning “Valley of Milk,” is renowned for its rolling hills, verdant meadows, and sparkling streams. Enjoy a horse ride or embark on a trek to explore the surrounding areas. For adventure enthusiasts, a trek to Tatta Kutti, the highest point of Doodhpathri, is highly recommended. In the evening, return to Srinagar and relax with an overnight stay at your hotel.

Early in the morning, depart for Pahalgam, the “Valley of Shepherds,” located at the confluence of streams from the Lidder River and Sheeshnag Lake. On the way, stop to visit the Awantipura ruins, an ancient 1,100-year-old temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu, built by King Awantivarman. Upon arrival in Pahalgam, take in the beautiful surroundings or enjoy a walk to Baisaran, a scenic village about 2 km from Pahalgam, nestled in pine and fir forests and offering lovely views. Overnight stay at a hotel in Pahalgam.

In the morning will proceed to Aru Valley, Betaab Valley and Chandanwari by Union Taxi (at your own cost). Aru is a small village, 11 km upstream of the Lidder River, is a beautiful locality. The route is picturesque with ample campsites. This village is the starting point for treks to the Kolahoi glacier. The most beautiful of these is the huge, undulating meadow of Baisaran, surrounded by thickly wooded forests of pine.Hajan and Betaab valley on the way to chandanwari. Gulmarg Valley Local Sightseeing and Return Back to Srinagar City| Gulmarg – Srinagar Dal Lake:

In the morning having Breakfast drive to Gulmarg, the meadow of Flowers. Gulmarg is famous all over the world for Skiing and Snowboarding. During the British Raj, Gulmarg hosted the Britishers and Europeans, and as such they created a European hill resort and named it Gulmarg. In Gulmarg, you would be able to find European surroundings and an 18-hole Golf Course. Enjoy a Gondola Cable Car Ride the world’s highest and Asia’s longest cable car (at your own cost). Enjoy photography, horse riding, and shopping at this beautiful snow point. In the evening return to Srinagar city Check-in at the Houseboat and Enjoy an evening shikara ride at Worlds famous Dal Lake. Night halt at Houseboat at Dal Lake.
